Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery, the first since before prohibition. Kings County makes hand-crafted bourbon and moonshine out of a 325-square foot room in five, 8-gallon stills. Our moonshine recently won “Best in Category” for corn whiskey at the American Distilling Institute’s Craft Spirits Conference.

If your favorite bar or restaurant is not listed, please have them get in touch with us.

Distillery Tours

The distillery is open for tours and tastings from 2:30pm to 5:30pm on selected days each month (indicated below). You do not need a reservation, just come by and buzz the distillery (note the street sign for Meadow is currently missing, so plan carefully). We don’t have a phone and tours are very informal. Tours are free; tastings are $3.

Navy Yard sometime in the late spring / early summer. Thanks for your patience.

We are prohibited from delivering or shipping our products, and we aren’t able to open the distillery for sales, tours, or tastings except for the dates listed on this website.
